This policy explains what personal information we collect when you rent a storage unit from us or use our website, customer portal or mobile app, what we do with it, and what rights you have.

We are the data controller for this information. ICO registration number: ZB358083.

1. What we collect

When you enquire Your name, and the email address or phone number you contact us on, together with anything you choose to tell us about what you want to store.

When you sign up for a unit

While you rent from us

We use the gate record to keep a short-term view of who is on the Site at any moment, so our staff know who is in the yard. An entry drops off that view by itself within twelve hours.

CCTV We operate CCTV at the Site, so if you come here you will be recorded. Images are monitored and recorded to prevent and detect crime and for the safety of people on the Site. Recordings are normally kept for 14 days and then deleted, unless we need to keep a specific incident for longer.

You can ask for a copy of CCTV footage of yourself, ask how the system works, or complain about it, using the contact details above. We will respond within one month.

When you use the customer portal or the app

Location — only when you open the gate If you use the "Open gate" button, in the app or on this website, your device location is read at that moment and sent to us once, so we can check you are actually at the site before opening the gate.

You can decline this and still get in with your gate card as normal.
